High Point Academy had an amazing showing on Saturday, March 15 at Tri-League Debate Tournament, taking the 2nd place trophy overall among 27 schools.
Desmond L., Simon L., and LJ T. took 14th place in a field of 130 teams.
Out of 365 speakers, Amy F. ranked 24th, Lucas C. ranked 13th, and Simon L. ranked 7th.

This concludes the regular debate season and sees our team move into the post-season competition. The Championship Tournament is an event for the most dedicated debaters with four topics over six preliminary rounds, followed by finals. Practice will begin soon for this exciting finale!
